I gaze upon you
I see beauty unrivaled
No,
Not mere physical beauty
For that beauty is here today
Gone tomorrow.
Yea,
Beauty that is heart and soul
Encased in physical
Which makes you
Priceless and extraordinaire.
When in your presence
Without seeing you
My heart knows you
Wants you
Wants to share
Life.
Eyes laid upon you
I desire to
Hold you close
To smell
You
All of you.
I need to
Kiss you
And...
Passion
It does not stop
For I find life with you
Ever a wonder.
Your eyes speak of love and passion
Desire for me
Our time together.
You move with such grace
I can not remove my eyes.
Your voice
Beacons me
To listen.
Your heart
Draws me
In warmth and love.
This is,
Life!

The Answer
Life teaches us
plenty
If we’re willing
to learn.
As I travel
this road
called life,
I’ve learned
what many
have either
forgotten,
or never learned.
So many
in our present
time
have come to believe
The answer
Is most
important.
Our generations
have focused
on perceived
Intelligence
by thinking
This wisdom
is measured
in the telling.
but so many
Do not
Understand
The question.
One cannot answer
Without understanding
The question.

The Unconventional
“My! You are…
Different,
Unusual,
Unfamiliar.”
Am I an alien
Misplaced
on a planet not my own?
My appearance,
Not so different
from those around me.
So, what makes me so
…
Foreign?
Is it my
Disdain
for conformity?
Surely it cannot be thus!
I am
Kind,
Gentle,
Loving,
Giving,
Caring,
Hence, I am among many
Model citizens.
Or is it
My ability to see
To see beyond
The palpable,
The paltry?
To see and to know
That life
Is more than
Mere objects
To be
Bought
Sold
Collected.
If life
upon this world
has been reduced
to mere
Accumulation
To conformity of the
Soul,
the spirit,
I am
Without doubt,
An alien,
To my core.
If the character of life
upon this world
Is expressed through
Avarice,
Materialism,
And conformity
that crushes the soul
And the spirit of all,
Yet speaks of love,
then makes even this wonder
Complex…
I am indeed a
Misplaced Alien.

Whom
How can one feel a deep loss for something never possessed?
I've never had the pleasure of holding you in my arms,
I've never smelled the sweet scent of your skin,
Never tasted the sweetness of your kisses,
The tenderness of your hugs,
Nor that of a simple touch,
The warmth of your words,
The joy of your laughter,
To look into your eyes.
Yet I miss you.
Life continues,
Alone.

Give
I see you
Your eyes
I hear your voice
Your desire.
I respond.
We speak
We share
We find
Kinship.
Give me your
Heart
The one and only
Precious gift
Assuring love
Unbound.
I give you my heart
Assuring balance
Harmony
Love everlasting.
For in you
In this world
I now know love.
In you
I know love
Eternal.

This World
I view this world
Not as my home
Only a place to visit.
I am a lonely tourist
On a strange world.
I know my origin
But since I have
Neither kinsman
Loved one
Or friend
With which to travel
I want only to return home.
Soon those of this world
Will themselves destroy
This world once so beautiful.
They wish not to learn.
In their arrogance
In their pride
They believe they know
All.
On a path of destruction
They travel
Believing
All is well!
Or
That someone will render salvation
From themselves.
Sadness
Sorrow
Pain
Suffering
Death
Are the rulers of this world.
To my origin I wish to return.
